West Sacramento organization to change annual fundraiser

The Active 20-30 Club of Greater Sacramento will be altering its annual fundraiser this January in West Sacramento.

The 28th Annual Crab Feed used to be an in-person event where people would purchase meals to support local youth groups. This year, the organization has changed the fundraiser into a drive-thru, allowing attendees to pick up their meals from the Bike Dog Brewery safely. Each dinner will come with three pounds of crab, chowder, and bread. Beer from Bike Dog Brewery and wine from Baker Family Wines can also be pre-ordered by guests.

Active 20-30 is a national service organization dedicated to improving children's lives through hands-on work and fundraisers. The group was first formed in 1922 alongside the Active International in Aberdeen, Washington. Many local events are created by the organization, including the Taste of the City, Monte Carlo, and the Sactown Urban Dash. Charitable clubs like this can bring Promotional Products to their festivals to raise awareness for their cause.

The event will be held on Saturday, January 16 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A single meal will cost $45, while dinners for two will be $85. Dessert can be bought for $5, and additional portions of crab are available for $25. The Active 20-30 Club will also hold a virtual auction in the evening starting at 7:00 pm.
