A local fire museum in West Sacramento will be reopening in April.
The Sacramento Regional Fire Museum has announced that it will be reopening to the public. The museum’s Shop Crew has been working on completing new exhibits to create a fresh experience for its visitors next month. Members of the museum will get to access the location early. People interested in becoming a member can sign up on the venue’s website. Attractions like this can advertise re-openings by using banner printing.
The fire museum was opened by the Pioneer Mutual Hook and Ladder Society after the group was formed during the 1990s. The attraction teaches guests about the importance of fire safety while sharing the history of firefighters. Artifacts, documents, and equipment related to fire service are collected and restored by the museum and put on display. The organization also partners with other fire service groups to help educate the public.
The Sacramento Regional Fire Museum will be opening to its members on April 17th and will open to the general public again on April 24th. Tickets to enter the building will cost adults $10, seniors $8, and children between five and 17 $5. Members get free admission to the museum. Membership costs start at $48 per year, which includes a pin, gift shop discount, and access to the museum’s newsletter.
