West Sacramento enjoys low gas prices

Drivers in West Sacramento have recently been benefiting from a break at the fuel pumps, and if things continue on as expected, these low prices will remain the norm for some time to come.

According to GasBuddy, which is a site that tracks gas prices across the country, the average retail price for a gallon of gas in the local area was $2.45, which is down 4¢ from last week, 31.5¢ from four weeks ago, and 17.8¢ from this time last year.

The average price for gas across the country was $2.01 a gallon, which is down 15.8¢ from the previous month and 53.3¢ from a year ago. A printer can design a variety of ad specialties, such as magnets, car air fresheners, and windshield cleaning cloths that gas providers can send out to their customers promoting the lower fuel costs and encouraging them to come in for a fill up.

According to Jeff Pelton, who is the senior petroleum analyst for GasBuddy, if things continue on in this trend, the prices will be the lowest they’ve been since 2008 by the end of the year.

Pelton noted that the most likely reason for this rapid fall in pricing in the amount of crude oil currently on the world market. Crude oil prices have been very low, and this has made gasoline prices fall.
