West Sacramento chamber to discuss waste management policies

The West Sacramento (WS) Chamber of Commerce will have a networking lunch this March that will inform attendees about upcoming changes to waste management in California.

The chamber’s Monthly Lunch is an event where entrepreneurs can gather and discuss various important topics related to operating businesses. This month, the meeting will be talking about waste management and how the new regulations will impact companies. California has a goal to lower its landfill waste by 75% this year. Any businesses that have four or more cubic yards of waste must use food waste services.

The WS Chamber of Commerce hosts several networking events throughout the year. The organization holds monthly happy hours, anniversary parties, and members-only mixers for those interested in creating lasting connections with local business leaders. People who go to networking opportunities such as these can use business card printing to produce professional cards that help with making good first impressions.

The next WS Chamber Monthly Lunch will be held on Thursday, March 5th from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm. The meeting will be held at Club Pheasant in West Sacramento. Admission to the networking event will cost $25 for members of the WS Chamber of Commerce. Those who are not members can still attend the meeting for $40 instead. No refunds will be offered for the event.
