West Sacramento ballpark to celebrate Independence Day

Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento will host a family-friendly fest in July for Independence Day.

The 10th Annual Forth on the Field is a fun festival where the community can enjoy a firework show and other activities. Live music will be played at the fest, and the ballpark will have many vendors to browse. People can participate in challenges such as a pie-eating contest and a water balloon toss. Several food trucks will attend the event, including JoJo’s Hawaiian Fried Chicken, The Lumpia Truck, and Drewski’s Hot Rod Kitchen. Food may also be purchased at the stadium’s concession stands.

Those 21 and older can pay extra to access an exclusive club at the ballpark. There will be two bar areas that offer games such as cornhole and ping-pong. Attendees also have the option to book an air-conditioned suite at the venue for a private experience. Those in the suites will get to pre-order their food and will have a beverage attendant available to take their drink orders.

The Independence Day event will be held on Tuesday, July 4 at 6:00 pm. Parking will cost $15 per car, and general admission is $16 per person. Those who order their Forth on the Field tickets in advance can get a discount. Sports venues that host festivals like this may use banner printing to represent the companies that sponsor their events.
