A West Sacramento area event will be serving up local craft beers and wines in support of the Sacramento Zoo, and area residents are invited to come and join in the fun.
During Wine and Brew at the Zoo, guests will be able to sample some of their favorite local drinks while trying out some new ones as well, all in the facility’s lush surroundings with wild animals looking on. The event, which is open to those age 21 and older, will also feature live music and a silent auction. When time comes for a bite to eat, food trucks from the local area and the zoo’s own café will be serving up taste treats for purchase.
Tickets start at $55 each, and designated driver passes are also available at a reduced rate. The funds raised will be utilized to help provide care for the animals and general facility maintenance. It will take place rain or shine, and the zoo gates will be closed at 1:30 pm on the day of the event to allow staff to prepare. A local printing company can supply personalized items such as custom Drinkware for a fundraiser like this.
Wine and Brew at the Zoo has been planned for the evening of May 13 in the Sacramento Zoo. More information about the function can be found on the Town Planner website.
