Volunteer organization to hold anniversary in West Sacramento

The Wilderness Volunteers will celebrate its 25th anniversary at Drake's: The Barn in West Sacramento.

The Wilderness Volunteers 25th Anniversary Party is a program where members of the organization can meet with new people and fellow members while indulging in good food and drinks. Members of the volunteer group are encouraged to bring their family and friends to the anniversary celebration. During the event, attendees can mingle by the venue's firepits, play games, and win branded gear during the party's giveaways.

The Wilderness Volunteers is a national non-profit organization that helps public land agencies find people to volunteer for stewardship projects. Each project from the group is limited to 12 people, including two trained volunteer leaders. The non-profit has been involved with several areas, such as the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge and Canyon Rims Recreation Area. The fitness level of each volunteer is assessed to ensure participants can handle the nature expeditions.

The anniversary celebration will be held on Saturday, December 3 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. There are no ticket prices for the party, though members of the Wilderness Volunteers can register in advance. Those interested in supporting the organization can give annual cash gifts for perks such as being featured in the group's annual report and digital updates on projects. Companies that hold anniversaries like this may use flyer printing to promote their parties to others.
