The 4th annual Sacramento Aloha Festival is taking place this October, presented by the Ka'Onohi Foundation. Organizers will be collecting non-perishable donations for the River City Food Bank.
The festival is expected to feature educational exhibits, a variety of speakers and workshops. There will also be Hawaiian and Pacific cultural and musical entertainment provided by such artists as the Island Sunset Band and Wakane Luke; visitors are encourage to bring their own chairs to enjoy the music. In addition, there are set to be health and community group displays, a cultural village, food and beer for sale, and vendors.
Arts and crafts specialists will be set up in the Keiki Korner, as will community information booths, and they will be selling a variety of Hawaiian-related and non-related items. Applications are still being accepted; fees are $250 and $400 depending on the size of the booth.
This event is sure to attract visitors from across the area, including nearby West Sacramento. Local Stationery printers may have been asked to help provide advertising materials like Flyers and Brochures to help get the word out.
The Sacramento Aloha Festival is being held at the California Exposition and State Fairgrounds on October 4 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Admission is free of charge.
