The City of West Sacramento is hosting the annual Tree Lighting ceremony this December.
The tree located outside of City Hall will be lit up to start off the holiday season celebrations. Santa will be on hand to pose for pictures with the kids, there will be musical entertainment and free holiday refreshments.
Following the lighting, the celebrations will move inside, the Sacramento State Students and the City of West Sacramento's Parks and Recreation Department are hosting their annual Holly Jolly After Party. This popular event is set to feature music, food, a raffle, and a toy drive. Guests are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy, which will be donated to the Mustard Seed School for Homeless Youths. All who do this will receive five extra raffle tickets.
Many companies have already donated plenty of items for the raffle. A lot of them will no doubt want to let their West Sacramento customers know they are participating in this event. They might do this by investing in flyer printing services and then distributing material in the community.
The Tree Lighting is being held outside the West Sacramento Civic Center Galleria on December 5, beginning at 6:00 pm. The Holly Jolly After Party is also taking place in the Galleria, starting at approximately 7:30 pm. To get information on either event, call 916-371-7042.
