Residents of West Sacramento may want to spend the day crafting Christmas gifts on this weekend at the Hampton Inn, 3021 Advantage Way, Sacramento
For 12 hours, participants will be able to craft, scrap, make jewelry, and create cards to their hearts’ content. Participants should bring their own supplies. The advantage to this event is that gifts can be created in the company of other crafters without family members finding the items and spoiling the surprise.
The event will be held from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm this Saturday, September 21. Additional dates are October 19, November 16, and December 14.
Electrical outlets will be available and admission is only $20. Snacks, coffee, tea, and cocoa are provided. The session is limited to those ages 11 and older.
Crafters can create photo albums or a custom calendar and have them duplicated at a local Print company for easy, yet creative, gifts for friends and family.
Joy, a professional massage therapist, will offer her services for $1 a minute in increments of 10, 20, or 30 minutes.
Later that evening, its fundraising time for Stand Out Talent with its 3rd annual event entitled ‘All That Jazz’. The event will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday at the Stand Out Talent at the Tower Theatre, 417 Vernon Street in Roseville.
