The Sacramento Burger Battle 2019 will be hosted at Drake's: The Barn soon in West Sacramento.
Local restaurants will be competing in a burger cook-off where a panel of judges decides which dish is the best burger in Sacramento. There is also a People's Choice award that attendees can give to whichever business receives the most votes from the public. Guests at the event can enjoy unlimited samples of the burgers created for the competition, in addition to alcoholic beverages and desserts.
The cook-off is a fundraiser that will be supporting the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. Rodney Blackwell, a local blogger, started the event in 2012 due to his daughter being affected by Crohn's disease. The non-profit foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for the disease and offers educational programs and workshops. Organizations that want to educate consumers about their cause can use printing services to make memorable Brochures and Flyers.
The Sacramento Burger Battle 2019 will be held on September 21st from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. General admission will cost each person $70 and will include a commemorative glass and unlimited burger samples. T-Shirts can also be purchased for $15. The event will only be open to people who are aged 21 or above. Businesses that wish to support the cook-off can buy sponsorship packages that include a shout out on social media and their logo displayed online.
