Artist to teach West Sacramento watercolor basics

Creatively Carrie will be offering a virtual art class this December in West Sacramento that will cover the basics of using watercolor paints.

The Virtual Watercolor for Beginners course is an online experience where people can improve their painting skills with the help of an experienced artist. The class will start off with a discussion that details the history of watercolor and the items used in watercolor painting techniques. Each student will get to make a color chart and will learn about the proper way of using reference photos for their drawings. Carrie will be available to coach attendees and answer their questions during the third hour of the course.

Creatively Carrie is an art business that launched in 2014. Carrie organizes painting parties, art lessons, team building experiences, and fundraisers. She also works alongside community centers to bring engaging and educational craft projects to everyone. Some of her past classes include holiday-themed painting sessions, pet portraits, and acrylic pours. Artists like this can promote their courses by using poster printing.

The virtual watercolor class will be held on Sunday, December 6 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Each ticket for the course will cost students $28. Those interested in attending the workshop should email the organizer to receive a list of supplies that are required to complete the class.
