Artist to hold painting activity in West Sacramento

Jackrabbit Brewing in West Sacramento will offer an in-person painting experience in January.

Paint and Plant at Jackrabbit Brewing is an artistic event organized by the art business Creatively Carrie, where people can decorate their own ceramic teapot planters. Once guests are finished with the painting session, they may plant a succulent into their creations. All required supplies are included in the project's cost, and there is no minimum experience level needed to take part in the painting or planting activity.

Creatively Carrie is a business owner who offers both virtual and in-person artistic experiences. She has held events at numerous local bars, including the Bike Dog Broadway Taproom, Bull Wings Grill & Bar, and the Moksa Brewing Company. Past projects hosted by Creatively Carrie include creating personal terrariums, painting ukuleles, and creating portraits of pets. Artists like Carrie who organize their own events may use Print shops to make advertisements.

The teapot planter activity will be held on Saturday, January 7 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Those interested in attending may pay $30 to join Carrie's event. The project is appropriate for families, though it is not intended for those under six years old. People will receive a $5 bar credit for each ticket they purchase for the event. All guests are asked to come to the venue at least 15 minutes early if they want to place food or drink orders.
