Ohio natives Hawthorne Heights first came to attention with their song “Ohio is for Lovers,” which began getting airplay on national radio and MTV. Victory Records signed the group, and they released “The Silence in Black and White” in 2004 on that label. The album made it onto the Billboard charts at No. 56.
Their second album, “If Only You Were Lonely,” dropped in 2006, proving to be their breakthrough. It debuted on the Billboard 200 charts at No. 3 and stayed on the chart for 17 weeks. In 2008, they released their “Fragile Future” album, which also charted, debuting on the Billboard 200 at No. 23. It stayed on the chart for five weeks. Their latest album, “The Rain Just Follows Me,” was released in 2021.
A review states:
“Emo band, Hawthorne Heights, has been dedicated to putting out highly emotive and meaningful songs that strike a deep chord with their fan-base ever since their formation. Their live performance is a testimony to the caliber of sincere music they create.”
Hawthorne Heights will be at the House of Blues in San Diego on November 2 at 7.30pm. Appearances like these can be enhanced if organizers work with poster printing companies to create exciting advertising that will draw audiences to the event.
