“The World of Hans Zimmer: A New Dimension” is a spectacular show featuring the composer’s music, played by a live orchestra as scenes from the films he scored are displayed.
There are several variations of the show, each curated by Zimmer himself, who selects the materials and the soloists. This is the first time the “New Dimension” show will tour North America.
Audiences will enjoy a trip through some of the composer’s most noted scores in new suites arranged by the composer, accompanied by visual projections and performances by outstanding soloists. The World of Hans Zimmer Orchestra will also be performing.
Zimmer has approximately 500 projects to his credit, including almost 150 films. Some of his most popular scores include the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, “The Lion King,” “Gladiator,” and “Interstellar.” He has won two Oscars, one for “The Lion King” and the other for “Dune.” He has also won three Golden Globes, a BAFTA Award, and been nominated for seven Emmys and five Grammys.
