The San Bernardino Mountains Wildlife Society’s Woodhaven Wildlife Sanctuary will be hosting its 12th annual Arrowhead Goes Wild Gala very shortly. Proceeds from the gala will go to help protect wildlife in need.
The event will begin with a tour through the mountain sanctuary. After that, there will be a silent auction, dinner and a multi-media presentation.
During the Champagne Tour, guests will follow animal tracks and may catch a glimpse of wildlife such as bobcats, raccoons, deer, coyotes, bears, and eagles. And will meet Animal Ambassadors. Afterwards, everyone will eat at the Taco Bar and bid on items at the silent auction. Following dinner, the sanctuary will give a multimedia presentation about its mission and programs.
The not-for-profit organization offers a wildlife sanctuary, a visitation, and an education center for indigenous and endangered animals that are found in the San Bernardino Mountains. Programs that will be funded include the Paws ‘n’ Claws and Wings ‘n’ Things Saturday educational experiences. On Fridays, guests can reserve tickets for the Bear Watch. This is a look at the sanctuary instructors’ daily training workout with one of the local bears.
