Once again, the San Bernardino Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting its annual Winter Wonderland in the Park and Christmas Parade. This year’s activities will be a lot like last year.
‘Cookies with Santa’ was a big hit with the kids last year, so it has been included in this year’s lineup of activities. Kids will also have various other holiday-themed activities and games to keep them busy. Food vendors galore will be on site to hawk their holiday treats. Merchandise vendors will be offering unique items for those on everyone’s holiday gift lists. As has been the tradition, custom and classic cars will be on display.
Local organizations, schools and businesses are getting their floats, music, uniforms, and Banners ready for the annual YMCA Jubilee Christmas parade. After the parade, kids can enjoy snow events such as downhill sledding on a real snow hill, snow slides and snowman building.
Local bands, schools, and individuals will be providing the live entertainment after the parade. Everyone is asked to bring an unwrapped toy for the San Bernardino Fire Department to give to needy local children.
The Winter Wonderland in the Park and the Christmas Parade will be Saturday, December 9 from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm at Perris Hill Park, 1135 I. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino.
