San Bernardino workshop to empower Latinas

The HOPE organization will be holding a workshop in November at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in San Bernardino.

Latina Empowerment Day is a series of workshops held in multiple cities where members of the Latina community can listen to several presentations on important topics. This year, the covered subjects include how to advance the Latina agenda and financial empowerment. There will be a continental breakfast served at the start of the event, and a lunch break. Those who attend seminars similar to this can use business card printing to connect with fellow guests.

HOPE is a non-profit group that aims to advance the status of women through advocacy, education, and leadership training. The organization has served over 50,000 Latinas since forming. Many programs have been created by the group, including Latina Action Day, Latina History Day, and the Young Professionals Summit. HOPE accepts donations on its website for those interested in supporting the development of Latina leaders.

The workshop will occur on Friday, November 12 from 8:30 am to 2:15 pm. Early bird tickets can be purchased for $25. Attendees who register after November 4 must pay $35 instead. Ticket sales for the seminar will end on November 7. Companies wishing to become a table sponsor can pay $250. People can learn more about HOPE and its programs by visiting the organization's website.
