San Bernardino to teach business owners about real estate

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in the Orange County Inland Empire will hold an event in San Bernadino for store owners.

Entering Commercial Real Estate as a Business Owner is a two-day program that introduces attendees to the complex industry of real estate. The course is part of the SBDC’s Growth series, which is a collection of training events that teach small businesses about topics like running rural brands and maximizing profitability. The real estate course will cover subjects such as types of commercial real estate, how to work with a broker, and the differences between leasing and buying.

The Coachella Valley SBDC is an organization that offers educational resources to small business owners to help them start their brands and succeed in their industries. The lessons offered by the group are free and cover important subjects like marketing tactics, funding, and management. The organization also provides business planning services, including site selection assistance, lease negotiation, and help with developing business plans.

The course on commercial real estate will be held on Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. There is no cost to attend the program, though participating small business owners are asked to register for the event in advance. Organizations that offer similar education series may use poster printing to promote their lectures.
