Residents of San Bernardino will not want to miss an art and music extravaganza coming up next month.
California State University of San Bernardino’s (CSUSB) Second Annual Arts and Music Festival will showcase local artists to the community by bringing together faculty, departments, and clubs for one action-packed afternoon.
Visual arts will be on display in the Robert and Francis Fullerton Museum. The museum will also have an arts and crafts area for the children to get creative. A juried Art Walk along Camphor Drive will feature local artists and CSUSB art students who will exhibit and sell their work. The Pfau Library will offer a brown bag book sale, live music, and art exhibitions. Students from the Theater department will create flash mobs. Those wishing to promote the event may want to contract with local printing companies for banner printing and other similar services.
There will also be a Best of the Bands quarter finals competition hosted by the Santos Manuel Student Union Program Board and Underground Music Society. CSUSB 4th annual Jazzfest will be presenting several acts, including the university’s jazz ensemble. Local high school bands are invited to attend the musician clinics offered throughout the afternoon.
The Festival will be held May 2 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm right here in San Bernardino, at California State University.
