San Bernardino rings in New Year

Probably the largest New Year’s Eve bash in our area will be the Insomniac’s Fourth World of Countdown.

The event will have performances on three stages, featuring interactive and visual art. Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend.

Event Flyers say that over 50 bands will be presenting programs on the venue’s three stages – the Resolution, Infinity, and the Continuum. Some of the performers on the first night will include 4B, Alison Wonderland, Porter Robinson, Noise Frenzy, Two Owls and others. The second day will feature Yellow Claw, Noisia, GTA, Habstakt, Deadmau5, and 21 other groups.

The evening will be ablaze with LED-infused glowing environments and three-dimensional superstructures, and revelers will be showered with confetti at midnight.

‘Zen Zones’ will be heated, covered areas located throughout the venue for guests to get warm, sit and chill, and enjoy beverages before heading out for more dancing.

As in past years Insomniac will donate $1 per individual tickets sold and $10 for each guest list attendee to a local San Bernardino charity.

World of Countdown will be at the NOS Event Center, 690 South East Street, San Bernardino from Saturday, December 30 to Sunday, December 31. Shows start at 4:00 pm. Guests must be 18 and over for general passes and 21 and over for VIP passes. Parking and shuttle service will be available.
