San Bernardino racers to be put through their paces

Next month, the public can enter the Terrain Race held at the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) in California.

The race is an athletic event that challenges competitors to run through a 5K race filled with different obstacles, such as rope walls, cargo nets, and mud covered areas. Those participating in the race have the option of running multiple laps through the course. The activity has been held in many cities around the United States, including locations like Cleveland and Hartford. Each site offers different challenges based on the natural terrain of the region.

There will be multiple timeslots available for people to run the course, allowing groups to tackle the challenge together throughout the day. Organizations looking to represent their cause can use Graphic Design Services to create T-Shirts to wear at races. Those who take on the course will be given a commemorative T-shirt from the organizers in addition to a racing bib and finisher medal. Photos of people running through the course are available as well.

The Terrain Race will be held on July 13. Athletes can start challenging the course as early as 7:30 am and have the chance to sign up for timeslots until 3:00 pm. The cost to register for the event is $40 per person. There will also be a Mini Monkey Half Mile Run for children to enjoy.
