A golf tournament will be held in San Bernardino to help raise money for the Provisional Accelerated Learning (PAL) Center.
The PALS of PAL George K. Lee Jr. Golf Tournament is an event where people can support the PAL Center. The educational facility is a local non-profit that helps individuals achieve academic excellence and find jobs. The organization has been operational for 40 years thanks to the support of its alumni, boosters, and local businesses in the community. Companies can also help the learning center by purchasing a sponsorship package for the tourney.
The event will begin with a continental breakfast, followed by a 30-minute putting contest. The bulk of the competition will be a four-player scramble with several competitions, including a Long Drive Contest and a Closest to the Hole Contest. A prize will also be given out for making a hole-in-one. All players will receive lunch after the tournament. Organizers of outdoor competitions like this can use banner printing to give sponsors places to put their logos.
The golf tournament will be held at the Shandin Hills Golf Club on May 11. Individual players can sign up for the event for $180, and teams of four may enter the competition for $660. Discounts are available for those who register for the tourney before Friday, April 14. The sponsorship packages range from $250 to $2,000.
