San Bernardino charitable event to benefit pre-schoolers

The organization First 5 San Bernardino will be holding an event in August to help pre-school children prepare for entering the school year.

The Back to School Kinder Kit Drive-thru Event offers assistance to pre-schoolers in San Bernardino County by giving away free items for their classes. Each kit will contain various school supplies, including an eraser, crayons, Books, a pencil box, and a glue stick. Volunteers at the event will be required to undergo a temperature check and must wear a mask. Children do not need to be present in the vehicle to receive a kit from the organization.

First 5 San Bernardino is a group that was formed in 1998 to help promote, support, and improve the development of kids from the prenatal stage to age five. The organization offers several programs to benefit children, such as its educational Footsteps 2 Brilliance application and parental education courses at venues like Walden Family Services. Charitable groups similar to this can generate more attention for their cause by using flyer printing services.

The event will occur on Saturday, August 28 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. All attendees must register in advance to receive a kit from the organization. The drive-thru will be held at the Youth Build Charter School in San Bernardino. Those interested in other events from First 5 San Bernardino can look at their website to see upcoming programs.
