San Bernardino’s Yaamava’ Resort and Casino is hosting a performance by Gladys Knight this November.
The show may be one of the last in-person performances for the chart-topping, genre-trotting singer in a while, as Knight announced earlier this year that she would be winding down her concerts for a break from live shows.
The 82-year-old said she plans to spend more time with her husband and grandchildren, as well as focusing on other projects. Knight and husband William McDowell have a combined 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The seven-time Grammy winner boasts a multi-decade career commanding the Billboard charts in the genres of adult contemporary, gospel, R&B, and pop, securing No. 1 hits within each.
Known for hits like “Midnight Train to Georgia,” “Best Thing to Ever Happen to Me,” “I’ve Got to Use My Imagination,” and “Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye),” Knight has also had collaborations with other musical legends, including working with Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder, and Elton John for the Grammy-winning song “That’s What Friends Are For.”
R&B concerts like this may choose to use printing services to create merch table labels, venue Signs, and banner marquees.
Gladys Knight is performing on Saturday, November 14 at 8:00 pm at Yaamava’ Resort and Casino at 777 San Manuel Blvd in San Bernardino.
