San Bernardino heavy metal worshippers will want to get ready for an upcoming treat—a heavy metal music festival and camping event rolled into one weekend, called ‘Knotfest’.
The event will feature five stages of entertainment, plus 20 major festival attractions, 33 world-touring musicians, and 18 regional bands.
The first night will be reserved for VIP ticket holders and campers. These special guests will be treated to all the festival events without the crowds, including the Slipknot Museum, food, drinks and all the Knotfest’s attractions.
Things to keep people entertained will include a Fighting Thunderdome, The Ring of Fire (carnival ride), and a Massive Fire Hell Zone. The latter of these is an area that displays 24-hour pyrotechnic performances. Also, more than 30 costumed performers will entertain everyone by breathing fire, swallowing swords, and walking on fire. Guests can try the zipline or join the junk car drum circle. A tarot card reader will belch fire and a highstriker will be shooting out flames at distances up to 50 feet. Attendees are sure to want to bring a camera as their will be lots of opportunities for taking pictures for later poster printing.
The event is scheduled for October 24, 25, and 26 from 11:00 am to midnight at the San Manuel Amphitheater and Campground, San Bernardino. Tickets include a digital copy of the soon to be released Slipknot album.
