Fontana Pop Warner will be holding a golfing tournament in July at the Shandin Hills Golf Club in San Bernardino to raise money for its athletic programs.
The 14th Annual Golf Tournament & Banquet Buffet is a fundraiser organized by Fontana Pop Warner Football & Cheer. The purpose of the tourney is to raise money to help the club travel to events. Those who participate in the golfing competition will receive a golf cart, range balls, and admission to the buffet. Companies interested in supporting the football and cheer club can become a hole sponsor for $100 or give a general donation to the organization.
Fontana Pop Warner is a football club that began in 1963. The association's mission is to create a safe athletic environment where children can learn fundamental life skills such as sportsmanship and teamwork. The group also participates in the Pop Warner Little Scholars Program and Mt. Baldy Conference. Athletic organizations similar to this may market their football and cheerleading programs to families by using poster printing.
The event will be held on Saturday, July 16 from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm. Single golfers may register for the tourney for $135, and teams of four may sign up for $500. Mulligans (second shots) will cost competitors $10 each. No golfers will receive refunds for the tournament.
