Those in San Bernardino will not want to miss Fontana’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, Parade and Festival of Winter, which wraps up November.
The annual tree Lighting Ceremony will start the festivities. This family-friendly evening will include refreshments, live entertainment, and a visit from Santa Claus.
The Fontana Exchange Club will be hosting its annual festive event, with this year’s theme being ‘A Storybook Christmas’. There will be floats, bands, and marching units with plenty of Banners to introduce each participating group. The parade will be on Sierra Avenue beginning at Arrow Boulevard and ending on Merrill Avenue. The reviewing stand will be at Ceres Avenue.
The City of Fontana is inviting everyone to its annual Festival of Winter, for which 50 tons of snow is being brought in. The event will also have carnival attractions, games, and food. Children can get photos of themselves with the Jolly Old Elf. Novelty vendors will be on site as will arts and crafts stations for the little ones. Two stages will have live entertainment.
The Christmas Tree Lighting will be at City Hall, 8353 Sierra Ave, Fontana on November 30 starting at 6:00 pm. The Parade will step off December 10th at 10:00 am. The Festival will be in Miller Park, 17004 Arrow Blvd. in Fontana also on December 10th. The fun there will begin at 11:00 am and go until 4:00 pm.
