Find recycled treasures at San Bernardino junk hunt

The National Orange Show Event Center will be hosting an indoor expo in San Bernardino where guests can purchase repurposed items.

The Great Junk Hunt is a series of shows throughout the United States that feature vendors who sell specialty goods. Several types of aesthetics are represented at the event, such as industrial, vintage, and farmhouse. The expo has been ranked as a top flea market by publications like Romantic Homes and Flea Market Style. Guests will also get to enjoy cocktails at the convention and listen to live performances.

The show was created by Linda Albers in 2009 with her sister and was originally known as the Funky Junk Sisters Vintage Flea Market. All vendors for each expo are expected to create boutique settings in their event space. Those interested in becoming a merchant for the junk hunt must apply online and provide photos of their booth set up from past shows. Businesses that participate in flea markets like this can bring promotional Pens for interacting with booth visitors.

The convention will occur on Friday, October 1st and Saturday, October 2nd. Tickets for the Friday expo will cost attendees $15 for first pick access and $12 for entry after 6:00 pm. General admission for Saturday’s market costs $6. Children who are 12 or younger can receive free entry to the show.
