Dr. Nicole Arkadie will be organizing an event in San Bernardino that will empower and celebrate moms.
Dr. Arkadie’s “You Matter Too 4th Annual Moms Empowerment Summit” is a program where women can connect with other moms while learning valuable skills. There will be several workshops and activities held at the conference that cover topics such as self-care and career development. Many professional speakers will attend the event, including Dr. Deborah Vinall, Dinisha Evans, and Cece Alvardo. Guests are asked to wear comfortable clothes to the summit.
Arkadie is a licensed mental health therapist who also works as an assistant professor at the California State University of San Bernardino. She is the owner of A & A Counseling and Wellness Services and the founder of Arkadie Communications. Arkadie has written several Books, such as Caged No More and I’m Not Crazy: Just Self-Rescuing. She is currently researching ways to combat barriers to maternal health.
The empowerment summit will take place on Saturday, September 16 from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. The location of the event will be at 5500 University Parkway. Tickets to attend the conference are $50 per person. Mothers will not be allowed to bring their children to the summit.
