City readying for yearly music festival

For the third year in a row, San Bernardino music fans will get the chance to attend a ‘Self Help Festival’.

Both the outdoor and indoor stages will be vibrating with a continuous succession of popular bands. The festival is dedicated to the fans who attend these events and the effect the music has on them.

The group A Day to Remember, the festival founders, will not make an appearance this year. Headliners for 2015 will instead be Pierce the Veil. Other groups on the program will include Falling in Reverse, Sleeping with Sirens, The Ghost Inside, The Devil Wears Prada, Real Friends, Amity Affliction, Stick to Your Guns, and Pvris. Also other groups such as Breathe Carolina, State Champs, and Assuming We Survive may be added to the program.

General Admission will be $42, and organizers have arranged for a lot of poster printing done for the 600 available $179 VIP packages. Along with these limited edition festival Posters, general admission tickets, and VIP area access, these packages also come with T-Shirts, VIP laminates, and meet-and-greet photo ops with selected bands. Tickets can be purchased online, printed at home, received by standard mail, or delivered by UPS second day air.

The music extravaganza will be held March 7, at the National Orange Show Events Center, 689 South E. Street, San Bernardino. Doors open at 1:00 pm.
