The San Manuel Amphitheater will be hosting a music festival later this month featuring a wide variety of bands playing mostly hard rock or heavy metal music.
It will be just one leg of a tour dubbed the ‘Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival’, and promises to be a day filled with fun, energy, excitement, and above all, a lot of loud, virtuosic, hard driving music.
The Festival will feature headliner Slayer, playing heavy metal tunes from their latest album “World Painted Blood”. They will be joined by King Diamond, HELLYEAH (promoting their third album, “Band of Brothers”), The Devil Wears Prada (recently signed to Rise Records), Whitechapel (featuring an unusual concept of three lead guitarists) Thy Art Is Murder, (an Australian band that just released their first album), and a number of other movers and shakers from the genre.
Attendees are encouraged to dress the part of true metal fans, and will definitely want to bring their best camera for getting close-up shots for later poster printing.
The festival will be held Saturday, May 27th at the San Manuel Amphitheater (the largest in the US and able to seat 65,000 people), located at 2575 Glen Helen Pkwy, San Bernardino, starting at 1:00 pm.
