Several events are being held for teens at the Monrovia Public Library this March.
For youth people in 7th-12th grade interested checking out the teen programs taking place at the library, multiple Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meetings are being held throughout the month. Applications to join the TAB can be found on the City of Monrovia’s website.
The first TAB meeting is happening on Monday, March 2 from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm, at the Monrovia Public Library’s Community Room, immediately followed by an open-ended Teen Activity Hour from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
For newcomers to the Teen Advisory Board, an orientation event is happening on Monday, March 30 in the Teen Area of the library from 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
Another event open to all 7th-12th graders, even if they are not TAB members, is a Teen Game Hangout session on Friday, March 20 from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm in the Community Room of the library. Snacks, board games, Beyblades, and Nintendo Switch gaming will be available.
A Teen Pop-Up Makerspace event is also happening on Wednesday, March 25 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm in the Teen Area of the library, with some crafting supplies provided.
Teen activity events like these may choose to use brochure printing to create program schedules, instruction sheets, and supply lists.
All the events are taking place at the Monrovia Public Library at 321 S Myrtle Ave.
