Winter Fest is taking place in Costa Mesa beginning on the third Monday of this month and continuing until the New Year.
There are set to be activities taking place that are sure to please everyone in the family. One of the first events will be the lighting of the Christmas tree and the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Throughout the two-week festival, there will be ice skating, ice tubing, and a nightly snowfall. There is also the Candy Cane Carnival, which features 30 rides of all kinds, including bounce houses. Guests can also watch a live reindeer feeding, enjoy ice carving from the Chainsaw Chicks, walk through a larger than life ornament, be entertained by the magic of Jimmy H, or enjoy food and drink.
Visitors are sure to come from all over the area, including from Los Alamitos, to enjoy a taste of winter in Orange County. To advertise, organizers may invest in postcard printing services.
Winter Fest will take place at the OC Fair and Event Center from December 18 to January 3, beginning at 11:00 am each day. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and $10 or $15 for children between the ages of 4 and 11. Season's passes are also available and ride tickets are separate.
