Summer Concert Series to rock Los Alamitos

Los Alamitos is set to feel the vibes of the Summer Concert Series this summer downtown.

Kicking off the series is a number of concerts in June, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, at Pine Street.

On June 11th, the No Duh will pay tribute to No Doubt and its unique mixture of rock, punk, and ska.

Then, on June 18th, La Verdad brings the best tracks from the world of salsa. Led by Quetzal’s Gabrielito Gonzalaez, La Verdad explores various aspects of contemporary Latin music from across the diaspora, including jazz, funk, and traditional.

Rounding out the month of June is Redneck Rodeo, a country band with 10 years of experience performing in Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada. Playing through a repertoire of top country hits from the past century, Redneck Rodeo will take the stage on June 25th.

The concerts are presented via a joint partnership between the City of Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Department and Development Services, making each show completely free to attend.

Open to locals and out-of-towners alike, the free concerts extend throughout the summer, with other tribute bands and festivals headlining events in July and August. Other venues in the concert series include Little Cottonwood Park and Orville R. Lewis Jr. Park.

Concerts like these may choose to use banner printing to create marquees, stage decorations and vendor Signs.

All of the June concerts are on Thursday evenings and are happening at 10901 Pine St in Los Alamitos.
