Los Alamitos is hosting a 3rd of July Fireworks Spectacular at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base this weekend.
This year’s event is special because it is America’s 250th anniversary. With live music, local vendors, food carts, and a beer garden, there is a variety of entertainment on offer in the hours leading up to the fireworks themselves.
The free event was made possible thanks to sponsorships from Universal Waste Systems Inc. in collaboration with the City of Los Alamitos and the City of Seal Beach.
People are encouraged to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs, as there is no onsite seating or shade provided. Participants are also permitted to bring their own weighted canopies, though they must be no greater than 10’x10’ and must be taken down by the time the sun sets.
Only cars are permitted to enter the front gates, as there are no walk-up or bicycle options. Children must also be accompanied by an adult to attend.
Festivals like this may choose to use banner printing to create Signs for front gates, vendors and activity zones.
The 3rd of July Fireworks Spectacular is happening at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base at 4745 Yorktown Ave Bldg 19 in Los Alamitos. On July 3, the doors open at 4:00 pm, with the event starting at 5:00 pm, though fireworks will not kick off until about 9:00 pm.
