Bogart’s Coffee House has a full schedule of musical performances for early fall, aiming to attract visitors from further afield.
The coffee house, about five miles from Los Alamitos, serves a variety of hot and cold beverages, sandwiches, pastries, crepes and snacks.
Music by Serious Fun will be performed on Sept. 8 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This group plays songs from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s from the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, and Motown. The group has Alan Levin, Greg Lewis, and Kris Shelton.
On Sept. 15, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 the Andy Rau Band will perform. Their music blends blue grass, folk, and rock music. Their group demonstrates the versatility of the 5-string banjo and breaks conventions in blue grass and folk music.
A regular performer at Open, Mic, Keji Sojobi will perform on Sept 22 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. She plays the guitar. Allan Levin plays music from the 1960s on Sept. 28 at 7p.m. to 9 p.m. He will perform songs from the Beatles, Stones, Herman Hermits, and Dave Clark Five.
Dockweiler Jones will perform on Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The group performs vintage pop and rock music from Elton John, Al Green, and Cheryl Crow.
