Los Alamitos to teach childrens coding course
Code Ninjas will be holding a coding camp for kids in July at its main location in Los Alamitos.
Hackers Wanted: Uncover the Code in Roblox is a multi-day program where campers can use video games to improve their fundamental coding skills. During the camp, kids will create obstacle courses and other games inside Roblox. Attendees can try out the games made by their peers and publish their works to the Roblox community. Organizations holding camps like this can market their programs to families by using flyer printing.
Code Ninjas is an educational group that teaches kids about self-confidence and teamwork through a game-based curriculum. Lessons offered at the venue include topics like designing Minecraft modifications, stop motion animation, and game development. The facility also offers at-home lessons that teach children critical thinking skills. Other services from the venue include after-school programs and watching kids during a parents’ night out.
The hacking camp will be held from Monday, July 19 to Friday, July 23. Each camp session will take place between 9:00 am and noon. The price to attend the camp will be $249 per student, and it will be intended for students who are 7-14 years old. Those who are curious about the other lessons offered by Code Ninjas can see a list of upcoming programs on the group’s ActivityHero page.
