Los Alamitos to celebrate opening of community center

The City of Los Alamitos will organize an event in October to commemorate the reopening of the Los Alamitos Community Center.

Locals are invited to help the City of Los Alamitos celebrate the grand reopening of its community center. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an open house where attendees can tour the new building. Guests are encouraged to come to the opening in cocktail attire. Light appetizers will be served at the community center, and a DJ will be onsite to provide musical entertainment. People can park at the venue, though additional parking is available at Oak Middle School's parking lot.

The reopening of the City of Los Alamitos Community Center was made possible thanks to the contributions of State Senator Janet Nguyen, the representative of California's 36th District. Nguyen has been on many boards, including the Garden Grove City Council and the Orange County Board of Supervisors. She has also won notable awards like the We Give Thanks 2004 Women of Vision Award.

The reopening of the Los Alamitos Community Center will be held on Friday, October 4th from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The ceremony is free to attend, and guests are not required to register for the open house in advance. Appetizers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Communities that put together celebrations like this may use printing services to make promotional materials for their events.
