An AI Expo put on by the North Orange County Community College District is coming to the Los Alamitos area this spring.
The more-than-four-hour event is open to the public at Cypress College and includes a lunch for registered attendees, an AI (artificial intelligence) showcase to demonstrate use cases, and a keynote speaker from Tusuf Ahmad of Playlab.ai.
Ahmed’s talk at the Cypress College Theater is called “Embracing AI in Education.” Ahmed and his team are focused on changing how students and teachers engage with AI. This includes exploring ways the technology can be used as a tool to teach, learn, and enhance the workforce.
The theme for the event is “Empowering Minds” and it includes an emphasis on the latest technology, innovations, and advancements in AI. People expected to attend include industry professionals, students, and hobbyists.
Various workshops, an AI Prompt Challenge, and awards will also be part of the proceedings. Educational events like these may choose to use brochure printing for informational pamphlets.
The NOCCD AI Expo 2025 is happening on Wednesday, April 16 from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm at 9200 Valley View Street in Cypress. Admission is free and open to everyone. People who register by the end of tomorrow (March 28) will be given a parking pass and admission to the lunch at the Cypress College Quad.
