Los Alamitos to become winter wonderland

The city of Los Alamitos will be bringing back its annual Winter Wonderland event for a 13th time this December, bringing together the community for winter fun, holiday shopping and more.

The festival will feature a stage of live performers throughout the day, with past events focusing on local school choirs and bands. There will be a free ice skating rink and snow play for visitors. The holiday-minded can attend the ceremonial tree lighting and visit Santa’s Village, with plenty of backdrops for photo opportunities. There will also be a fair full of vendors offering gift items, festive food, and more. Marketplaces like this present a major opportunity to network with local businesses and creators, with Business Cards and promotional items often changing hands.

The title sponsor of the event is MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach, and other local nonprofit organizations like the Kiwanis Club of Los Alamitos and the Los Alamitos Community Foundation. The 2024 event will be looking to build on the success of last year’s Winter Wonderland, which attracted over 6000 attendees and included attractions such as a beer garden with lawn games and vendors such as Codas Kettle Corn, Farm Fresh Home Foods, and Yoga Six of Cypress.

The 2024 edition of Winter Wonderland will take place on the afternoon of December 7 at St. Isidore Historic Plaza in Los Alamitos.
