Independence Day celebration brings fireworks to Los Alamitos

The Redneck Rodeo Fireworks Spectacular is once again coming to the Los Alamitos Army Airfield to celebrate America’s independence this July.

Now in its third annual iteration, the free event is once again done in collaboration between the cities of Los Alamitos and Seal Beach and sponsored by Universal Waste Systems Inc.

Other than the fireworks, the headlining attraction is Redneck Rodeo, a country band who will perform at the event alongside the 40th Infantry Division Band.

A Family Fun Zone will also be provided at the event, offering activities for the whole family, including games, food and merchant vendors.

Due to the event taking place on a military base, people are required to enter in a car and participants 16 or older must show identification at the entry point. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

People are encouraged to bring their own shade, blankets and lawn chairs. However, a number of items are prohibited, included alcohol and pets, with the exception of service animals.

Community celebrations like this may choose to use brochure printing for an event schedule to give to attendees.

The Redneck Rodeo July 3rd Fireworks Spectacular opens at 4 p.m. and the fireworks begin at 9 p.m. at the Los Alamitos Army Airfield, Joint Forces Training Base at 11301 Valley Forge Ave.
