Los Alamitos to race wiener dogs for charity

The Los Alamitos Race Course will be hosting a friendly competition this July to help benefit a local animal shelter.

The 25th annual Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals is an event that invites wiener dogs to compete in a race. This year, there will be a total of 100 dogs that will be participating in the Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals. The fastest wiener dog will be crowned champion of the event. The proceeds raised during the dog race will directly support the Seal Beach Animal Care Center. Organizations that put together charitable activities like this competition can make ads using flyer printing services.

The Seal Beach Animal Care Center was first established in 1986. The group is a non-profit that wishes to assist animals by offering needy pets a safe environment. While the organization primarily works with the city of Seal Beach, they still accept adopters from other counties in California. The care center has several events that people can attend to help support their cause, such as meatball fundraisers and concerts.

The 25th annual Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals will be held on Saturday, July 18th from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Those who would like to help out the Seal Beach Animal Care Center can donate online or become a volunteer at the organization’s shelter. People can also see which animals are available to adopt from the care center’s website.
