Be Sew Bizzy in Los Alamitos will be holding a course in August that teaches people how to make handbags.
The Patti D. Handbag Class is a program where students can learn how to assemble a bag from an experienced designer. Patti D. Patti will be the teacher for the lesson and will provide attendees with step-by-step instructions and live demonstrations. There are several designs participants can choose for their handbags. The program is divided into two parts and will be held in person in Garden Grove. All the necessary supplies for the class can be purchased at the venue.
Be Sew Bizzy is a company that represents several businesses in the sewing industry, such as Kimberbell Designs, Claudia's Creations, and the Hoop Sisters. Several classes are held at the organization that teach skills like collage-making, embroidery, and creating tuffets. The company also hosts many events, including the Christmas in July Retreat, the Be Sew Bizzy Fall Retreat, and Deck the Palms. People can also order colored threads and felt packs from the business.
The first part of the handbag class will be held on August 4, and the second part of the program will be on August 18th. Each session will occur from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Those interested in the course can pay $60 to join the program. Businesses that host artistic workshops like this may use poster printing for advertising their lessons.
