Los Alamitos to host spring carnival
The City of Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services, as of the time of writing, will be holding a spring carnival this April at Little Cottonwood Park.
The Memorial Care Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Spring Carnival is an annual event that occurs on the Saturday before Easter. There will be plenty of activities that families can join at the carnival, such as balloon twisting and face painting. People can also have their picture taken with Peter Rabbit. The event will feature food trucks, inflatable rides, prizes, and live entertainment.
There will be multiple egg hunts held at the spring carnival that are open to children of all ages. Kids will be split into different egg collecting age groups and will have a designated time for their activity. Children ages 12 and below can participate in the egg hunt. After the event is finished, the carnival will have an hour of family games. Community festivals like this can make ads with poster printing services to help get more people interested in attending.
It would be wise to check for updates, but as things stand, the event will be held on Saturday, April 11 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. There is no cost to join the activities. Parking will also be provided by Little Cottonwood Park. Businesses that wish to become vendors for the event need to apply by this Friday, March 27. Booths will cost $50 per company.
