The Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base will host a public race at its facility in April.
The Los Alamitos Race on the Base is an event where athletes of all ages can compete for awards. The competition is a reverse split triathlon with a 5K run, 13.1-mile bike ride, and 200-meter swim. Participants must wear their assigned racing numbers and chips at the event, and athletes are not allowed to wear headphones or earbuds while competing. No pets are permitted at the venue, and spectators must stay off the course.
Runners can go to the Joint Force Training Base in Los Alamitos to pick up their bibs for the competition. Guests at the military base must bring their photo IDs, or they will not be allowed in the facility. People who want to help during the triathlon can volunteer for the event. Several volunteer tasks are available, such as checking gear, distributing water at the water stations, and passing out racing bibs to participants.
The race on the base will be on Saturday, April 13th. Those who just want to participate in the 5K run may pay $50 to register, and triathlon participants may pay $110. Discounts are available to athletes who register early. People who enter the 1:30 and Up triathlon category can pay $100 instead. Military bases that hold similar athletic activities to this may use Print shops to make ads for their competitions.Get a Free Quote for Print
