Los Alamitos Recreation & Community Services will organize an event next week to celebrate Independence Day.
The 3rd of July Fireworks Spectacular is a program where people can enjoy live entertainment at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos. The venue will have a designated Family Fun Zone and booths for purchasing refreshments. There will also be a beer garden on the base. Guests can bring lawn chairs, blankets, and weighted canopies to the event, though all canopies must be taken down by dusk.
Redneck Rodeo and the 40th Infantry Division Band will provide the live entertainment for the celebration. Redneck Rodeo is a group that has been performing live for more than a decade. The band plays country hits from the last six decades and has performed at venues like Daily's Sports Grill. The 40th Infantry Division Band formed in 1985 and participates in many events, including the Service Member and Employee of the Year Banquet.
The community event will be on Wednesday, July 3, and gates to the event will open at 4:00 pm. The fireworks will start at 9:00 pm. Those who want to see the fireworks must be inside the venue by 8:45 pm. There is no cost to attend the celebration. Community groups that host similar seasonal festivals may give out Promotional Products during their events to make their attendees feel more engaged.
