Sewing Lab Los Alamitos will hold a series of sewing camps for children this summer.
The Kids Summer Camp is a program where children ages 8-16 can learn how to sew in a professional environment. The camps can also be joined by children with sewing experience. Sewing Lab Los Alamitos has a list of projects that campers can choose from that range from easy to more challenging difficulties. Students who have their own sewing machines can bring the devices to their camp sessions to learn how to set the machines up and properly operate them.
Sewing Lab Los Alamitos is an organization created by Camilla Wright, who is a fashion designer with experience working for brands like Mudd Jeans and Soundgirl. She also started her own collection titled SOLDAT TAILORING in 2008. The sewing school offers weekly courses for adults and children that involve projects like pillowcases and pajamas. The lab is available for drop-in use on Tuesdays where groups of eight can work individually work on personal sewing projects. Schools that offer summer activities like this may use Print shops to design Posters to place around their communities.
The summer camps will be held from June 10th to August 17th. Each camp will last five days and have two-hour sessions. The program is limited to ten children per group and will cost $295 per child. Discounts are available for parents who register a child and their sibling.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Posters
