Los Alamitos military base to host race and expo
The Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos will be holding multiple athletic events this February.
Those interested in athletic activities can join the Race on the Base event at the Joint Forces Training Base. This year, there will be several races that attendees can join, such as the Glow in the Dark Donut Run, 95.9 The Fish Reverse Triathlon, and a 10K Run. Each race will be held on a flat course, and music will be provided throughout the event. Guests can even view military helicopters and vehicles during the activity.
There will also be a health and fitness expo held at the festival that will feature many local vendors. Participating businesses will be selling running merchandise like shoes and clothing, while also holding special giveaways and providing useful information. Runners and spectators are encouraged to visit the booths for items like key chains and water. Companies that have stalls at community activities such as this can create branded promotional pens to give to attendees.
