The Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Department will host the 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat Halloween event in October this year.
The Treasure Hunt is the highlight of the spooky activities. In addition to hunting for terrifying treasures, there will be costume contests and games.
The city is seeking organizations and local businesses to help in providing community fun and a safe place for trick or treating. Spaces are available for rental for cars for handing out candy from the ‘trunk’. Candy must be provided for at least 1,500 people and must be bought in stores. No homemade treats are allowed.
Spots need to be reserved by October 18 and allow one vehicle per registration. Vehicles should be decorated for the Halloween holiday in keeping with the fun and spirit of the occasion. Each participant is encouraged to offer games, challenges, and activities for the kids as they come to the space. Friendly competition to win the candy is a fun way to engage with the families of the community.
Many participants distribute logo items to the adults, such as key chains, water bottles, and other useful items. As Flyers can be distributed from each spot, participants could contact a local printer to handle flyer printing and ensure a professional image is projected.
The 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat Halloween event will take place on October 24. Visit the entity’s website for more information.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
